Iโve been noticing a theme in some of my chats lately that resonates. Iโm very #SexPositive and #hedonistic and #kinky. This often puts me on the edge of rules in lots of spaces. But underlying it is that weโre #animal, and that the moral higher-than-thou #human construct is such a thin veneer so many cling to.
I feel that, even during #NSA sex, Iโm having an honest connection with someone when I can feel them let go and be animal with me. THATโS hot, even hotter than the sex itself.
Normally, beyond the simple political nature of being visibly gay and out in normal environments, I don't treat normal activities, like going to a gay bar, as a political statement.
It's just me, a gay man, hanging out with my friends at a bar, right?
I guess I get to add "political statement" to my reasons for going out on Saturday, now. Gotta make sure my attire rides the line exactly.
@zen_at_nite Whether as #LGBTQ or #neurodifferent, itโs amazing how just being our authentic selves can seem like a major political act. It reminds me of the motivation of gay and queer artists, like Tom of Finland, who shared their visions to raise awareness and sound a call to action.
The most important thing is to live by example and SHOW โthemโ that we are quietly and disturbingly โnormal.โ ๐
I've made the decision to move one of my accounts, largely because of the way they opted to apply #moderation that they later reversed after it was appealed. What do you mean that #Autistic people aren't #sexual? Or even #kinky? I know many! Indeed there are studies suggesting Autism could incline someone to it. I guess my Autism was news to them. Why not ASK first?
