Earlier this spring my kid picked out yarn and declared that he wanted a "meat hat" -- after many questions it sounded like he wanted a hat with some kind of Minecraft meat icons on it, and maybe some other stuff. He's stayed firm that "meat hat" needs to be a thing for months, so I'm knitting up the brim now and tomorrow I'll nail down his design vision further. 🍖🎩
@knitting Meat Hat has been instantiated! (See design docs and explanation up thread, but the short version is that my kindergartener is designing a hat.)
Kiddo says the meatballs "aren't visible enough" (a predictable side effect of his yarn choices that I warned him about back when it was chosen) so we'll probably experiment with embroidered outlines. But I'd like to block it first and we're occupied with Halloween tonight so it'll be a bit before we go any further.
