The biggest problem with #Invidious is of course the lack of full HD video quality on many servers. But I found this French server and they seem to offer no limits on youtube video quality!

Vorschlag: #newpipe, #libretube, #freetube bzw. im Browser #piped oder #invidious nutzen, um YouTube zu schauen. In den Apps gibt es auch tolle Einstellmöglichkeiten. Viel Spaß beim Entdecken.
Cela fait vraiment bizarre, vu de France, de voir un journaliste de télévision faire son travail, c'est-à-dire ne pas accepter les digressions de son invité et le mettre face à ses contradictions et ses mensonges.

#Invidious lacks one extremely simple basic feature: parameter-stripping.
You can paste a YouTube-url into the search bar and get the video you're after, which is great, but if the YT-link contains any extra parameters (and YT often adds lots of that stuff for various reasons, plus websites like facebook add their own when you click on their links) then Invidious doesn't understand it's a YT-link.
This is a feature that could likely be implemented in 1 added / modified line of code
Funny thing... I always knew #Piped is decentralized, like #Invidious. But for ~3 years I knew only one instance address, second one I accidentally saw here. And I absolutely don't know where to look for more. :blobcatjoy:
entrambi i progetti sono ottimi, al momento #piped ha meno problemi tecnici ma con #invidious si possono avere le anteprime e far partire i video direttamente dalle pagine mastodon, a voi la scelta!
Le istanze Invidious non sono funzionanti a causa di problemi causati da YouTube.
Si prega di essere pazienti, il team di Invidious sta già lavorando a una soluzione.
Visto l'accanimento contro invidious è stato attivato il servizio Piped sostitutivo che permette di accedere e condividere tutti i video di youtube senza pubblicità e senza essere spiati:
@richardnosworthy peertube is fab but obviously much less content than YouTube.
If you need to access YouTube content (and let's face it, there are numerous reasons why), try using #Invidious instead. No tracking, no ads. Some instances don't have the recommended feeds 🙌 which is much healthier
