I noticed a landowner who had posted huge Trump display signs during the Indiana primary season had removed them after a NY Court found Trump guilty of 34 felonies.
The signs went back to advertising lots for sale.
Maybe having Trump plastered over your future homestead was appealing in the past, but not so much now.
In the last several election cycles, the signs were up from before the primary until after the general election.
Yesterday's lunch – pork tenderloin sandwich (state sandwich of Indiana) with housemade potato chips and ranch at Shallo's in Greenwood. Great food, largest beer selection in Indiana and there is even a beer museum! https://www.shallos.com
All of the Tesla Cyber Trucks I spot in the wild are on my dash or doorbell cam, so they all look like Bigfoot or UFO sightings. This one was spotted on I-65 South near Exit 258.
My cousin couldn’t go to Carb Day and hooked me up with Hullman Terrace Suite tickets. My son had never been to the track so we went down to check it out. I’m glad he got to see the loud cars and louder jets, but this kid was in air conditioning, free food, racing sims, clean bathrooms, garage access passes, etc…I’m not entirely sure he got the typical experience! :)
I'm headed to Indiana. If the weather cooperates, I will have a nice fishing week. Will hit Turkey Run Park outside of Louisville either tomorrow evening or Sunday morning. On Monday, I hope to go to Turkey Run State Park in western Indiana. Yes they have the same name; it's a coincidence. I'll work in Indiana all week where I will have access to the White River. I don't yet have a plan for the following weekend. I'm taking a tent, so Daniel Boone National Forest will be on the table. If I am impressed by Turkey Run State Park, I may go back there. If you've got some opinions about theae areas and fishing, I would love to hear them.
A century ago, this photo was taken in Haubstadt, #Indiana. This town had both a #train station and #electric#interurban service, with a population of less than 700.
Now it has over 1,600 people, but has no service of any kind. The station and several of the buildings in this photo are now gone or empty.
Even major cities with populations in the hundreds of thousands sometimes lack basic #rail service. It's painful how much we've lost.
#Indiana judge finding 'tacos and burritos are Mexican-style sandwiches'
“Martin Quintana has been trying for about three years to open The Famous #Taco in Fort Wayne, but the initial written document at the plaza Quintana owns limits the business to “a sandwich bar-style restaurant whose primary business is to sell ‘made-to-order’ or ‘subway-style’ sandwiches.”
"Donald Lee Moss, 62, of Elizabethtown and James Link Behymer, 61, of Hope will appear in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., via Zoom for their arraignment and a status conference on May 29, according to court filings.
The case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan..."
I was cast in a play at the Lafayette Civic Theatre Play Festival! I will be playing an aging stoner, like totally typecast, man.
I also wrote one of the plays which will be presented as well. If you want a double-dose of seeing your good pal Scotto do creative comedy stuff, then mark your calendar for the last weekend in June.
