Gardens are memory keepers
Springtime bursts of pink
Wrapped in sweet fragrance
Granny's Easter lilies
Fresh orange blossoms
Groves magically grafted
A soft echo of Daddy
A mixture of impressions
Herbs a constant reminder
Garlicky green snaps
Missing Momma's cooking
Scents so deeply rooted
In everything I once was
And all that I still am...
"Welcome to June." It's the time of year when the rain increases and the number of gloomy days increases. However, depending on how you perceive it, if you focus on things and sensations that can only be seen now, you can have fun even at this time of year. I will work hard to create works so that everyone can savor the sense of the season, so let's make June a wonderful month together! ︎

Between rain showers I slipped out into a dear friend's backyard to take a few pictures of her beautiful purple lilies. The huge blooms are stunning with their purple-maroon coloring. Unfortunately she doesn't remember the name of this ornamental hybrid flower
Shots from the front #garden, which seems to be reaching a blossoming peak. The challenge from here on is to keep these plants healthy & looking good as we plunge into the hot & humid depths of the southeast #Texas#summer.
As part of trail restoration near our house, some tiny cacti have been planted in the past few weeks. This morning, one decided to bloom. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a blossom-to-barrel size ratio like this before. #phoenix#arizona#flower
