Moxxi thinks that all cars are potentially hers. She loves to walk around parking lots, sniff out every car and pick the one she prefers. Today, of all the fancy cars available, she picked the rustiest beat up Honda Civic. She wouldn't leave it. Here she is, in her standard meerkat pose, trying to catch a good glimpse of the inside of that beaut.
I don't share enough pictures of my dog. He may be a senior now, but he's still just as beautiful as when he was a puppy. He may be less cute and more "grumpy old dog" now, but he always watches over us whenever we go on hikes, and jumps in whenever the kids start playing.
He's a very good boy indeed.
So here is your daily dog picture if you haven't had your dose yet :)
We lost our dog to old age 2 years ago, and I just recently started scrolling through PetFinder app. Wilcox suddenly appeared on my screen and had me lol'ing. I might have to check him out.
One thing about Moxxi is that she has zero chill when we're at the cabin. There's always so much to do and so much to see that she stays up until she crashes at about 8pm.
So let's just say that this photo is a maaaassive win.
Does anyone have any advice at #dogsofmastodon for helping my traumatised dog enjoy his walks more? Two years ago he was attacked by two escaped off-lead Rottweilers when we were out walking. It was terrifying. Now he barks at any dog, any size or breed.
We have tried dog school to desensitise him. Vet gave him anxiety tabs. Vet told us to take him down streets where he's unlikely to meet other dogs (ugly places with no trees or happy smells). We just want him to enjoy being outdoors again.
Moxxi doing her best work supervising the removal of a tree that had fallen onto the neighbor's property. It was a huge tree so everyone was very thankful that she coordinated everything so well.
