Maybe you know the feeling. Maybe you know what it's like. To compose a life of scraps and fragments. To live in jumbled lines. Between stitches and tight sentences. In the texture of torn out paper, crumpled and dismayed. All our dead darlings, balled up on the floor.
That's the funny thing about real life, isn't it? We're either always denied the things we want or discovering that we never really wanted them at all. Did you think it wasn't true? You can tell me I'm wrong, but you know it too.
We tell ourselves that we're just one discovery, one uncovering, one goal, one task, one accomplishment, one thing, away from happiness, from contentment, from satisfaction, from rest, from peace. But it never comes, never arrives. We never meet the need...

We are about one month away from one of my favorite times of the year…fall reading! But we still have a couple more weeks before that begins, so let us enjoy the remaining days of summer with great book releases!
I was planning this for about a year. I thought to myself , if I want to keep doing something I love then I will have to be prepared for the changes to come. Technology is always changing and as a PC gamer I always have to keep un mind what is required to run newer games before I attempt to play them.
Unwanted Fly La on Midsummer Girl – Music of July 2023
Another unusual name combination at your service! I want to say that it hasn't been easy as 2023 progresses, but I have to remind myself that it's just part of life. It seems I have now a common issue many us face as we sit at our computers all the time! But it's not serious so I'll find a way to manage.
It's been hard trying to figure out my #transition. I decided long ago that medical and surgical options weren't of interest to me, but I didn't really know how to exist or express myself as #nonbinary or #genderqueer in an affirming way.
@egonw Ok, that narrows it down. Wordpress came to mind because it has a good importer from Blogspot. Finding a static website generator with ActivityPub support seems hard enough without a requirement of importing from Blogspot, so perhaps an intermediate conversion into Wordpress could be an option.
