I've just realised it's been about a week since I sold my Xbox Series X and I can't say I've missed it all that much.
My Steam Deck OLED has done a better job of keeping me entertained, having a bigger library, and the games being generally cheaper. Sure, the games aren't like 4K ULTRA MEGA HD or whatever, but it's fine - I can easily cope with playing Balatro for the rest of my life.
@gamingonlinux I picked up the Fallout tabletop RPG and it got me back into playing the video game on my Steam Deck. Turns out it's not hard to get Vortex working on a Steam Deck, so that's let me mod Cyberpunk 2077 and Skyrim: Special Edition.
@gamingonlinux I replaced my gaming laptop with a M1 Pro MacBook Pro, got a Steam Deck, then replaced my Windows gaming desktop with an M2 Pro Mac Mini and installed Linux on the gaming desktop (but haven't played games on it yet).
My Steam Year End summary has macOS and Steam Deck taking up 5/6 of my gaming time with both about equal. (And Rimworld taking up 29% of my gaming for the year.)
@gamingonlinux Played the first game, it was awesome. Haven't played this one yet but I've heard good things about it. Really looking forward to playing it
