Harry Harrison’s 1961 novel The Stainless Steel Rat is a semi-comic sci-fi adventure romp about the adventures of a criminal in a future in which crime scarcely exists. There's a fine lady super-villain and it's superb entertainment.
So in my experience #cyberpunk works tend to be terrestrial cities, and we don’t really explore colonies on other worlds or maybe there aren’t humans on other worlds. Toujours en congés, le programme va être un peu d'impression 3d (des boîtes et accessoires de rangement), raclifette (mais si, vous connaissez: ce croisement de raclette et de tartiflette), sieste et poursuite de l'écriture. Mon roman #SF#SpaceOpera entre dans son dernier tiers. Tout se tient, tout coule, le rythme me semble bon. Ça fait plaisir lorsque cela se déroule ainsi. For what it's worth, I'm looking for modern space opera book recommendations for myself and a friend. We're looking to see what's available in the genre published in the last ten or fifteen years. We both want to get a feel for current genre trends. I recently read Empire of Silence, and I'm looking for things substantially lower on the Grimdark scale than the Suneater series.
