Tiring day #today in #Budapest - lots of walking, and walking up steps!
We went up to Castle Hill and looked at the view before getting a bus back into the city to see St Stephens Basilica (say what you like - the Catholics do a great church!)
We got a #trolleybus the last part of the way back to our hotel
It's been warm and intermittently sunny.
Here's a quick #sketch of the Danubius Fountain in Elizabeth Park
Since work is all remote these days, I've been attending local drawing meetups so I can actually interact with people in person, so have a lot more time set aside to sketch my spaceships #spaceship#space#starship#doodle#illustration#sketch
Trying to cope with my very recent bad mental health days, I'm attempting to sketch cute art stuff to let my inner child heal a bit and to let myself relax... :blobfoxpleading:
So here's a possible new original character, he's Quacey, a dream realm knight foxy. I might attempt to finish this sketch digitally, when I have time and spoons for it.
The idea of a blind contour drawing exercise is to draw someone with a continuous line and especially to not to look down. So @LeapingWoman and I gave it a go for 60 seconds.
Her drawing has recognizable features. Pretty good.
And as you can see, I have proof that I did not look down.
Today is the International Wild Koala Day and for celebrating the deep love I have for these weirdly nice marsupials some throwback of a little series "Koala Stories" made in 2018 inspired by the beginning of my current relationship.
Disclamer: No matter how cute koalas might be, they aren't pet and should be preserved in the wild and climate change is posing the existence of these beautiful creature at risk.
