Started working on a new little MagicaCSG hard-surface modeling project.
One of the great things of working with MagicaCSG is that every element is non-destructive, so I can adjust the shapes, creases, colors et cetera at any time.
In having fun revisiting things I've made previously, I did a drawing inspired by my Terrarium Bulb illustration. This was great fun. I highly recommend revisiting past concepts. Great way to play around with a thing in a new iteration.
First load of #StoRPer shipped! Massive thanks to everyone interested in my plucky little #opensource#robot that could! Felt fitting to use my excellent @fsfe tote bag to walk the orders down to the Post Office this morning.
Started a new project to try out MagicaCSG's new Groove Blend option, a feature I requested to the developer @ephtracy , and he delivered. 💪👍👌
Groove Blend allows you to limit Boolean operations, like addition and subtraction, to a given offset from an SDF surface, which is very effective for adding creases and panels.
Finally, my most recent film is public. #TheMetalPerson about a young girl who makes a #robot to help her mother with domestic chores, but she has to face off with some extremists in her village.
This has been a labor of love, and hope you can tell me if you like the film, and what I can do to improve! And if you have a dollar to spare, please donate!
There are tiny robots
Swimming through my eyes
Why they're all inside there
I really cannot advise
I think it's a medical procedure
To fix something that is wrong
But really, maybe it's our AI overlords
Because the robot revolution won't be long
