A bit late to this particular party but just found this interesting PC fan remake of Zelda II which also adds some modern features like full on widescreen support. Plays really well too. Also playable on #SteamDeck and #rogally
I'll probably post more of these playable fangames as I find them.
This is how your lie when you do marketing. Here ASUS made it look like the Steam Deck was barely more powerful than the Switch, by making 0.39 tflops almost equal to 1.6 by not respecting the scale. That's the oldest trick in the book, and that's very low. #asus#rogally#graph#lie
So I started playing Genshin Impact a few days ago, mainly due to a friend of mine being really hardcore about it and wanting to play with them a bit and have another game to play together.
Still only a few hours in, my adventure rank is currently 9 and I think it takes level 16 to unlock multiplayer. To this point, I'm actually kind of enjoying chilling out and exploring around for treasure chests and such.
The game is obviously really trying hard to get you to part with your cash especially with the whole gacha aspect of earning new characters through straight up gambling. It's a bit of a shock after last playing Phantasy Star Online 2 which was probably on the other extreme in terms of fairness where you essentially only paid to get some quality-of-life upgrades like more item storage.
It's pretty, it's large and there's a ton to explore, and since I have zero intent on ever dropping a dime on it, I'm quite happy with the experience of playing it so far.
For what it's worth, it also runs extremely well on the ROG Ally at the standard settings at 1080p, which is how I am playing it. I've heard that it can be a bit rough running on the Steam Deck, but can't say I've tried it there myself.
With #FF16 having released and the Steam Summer Sale coming up, you might still be craving some new experiences on your #SteamDeck or #ROGAlly. Well don't worry, here are some free games you can get/try across Steam, Epic, GOG, and Amazon!
#today I actually played some demanding games on my #rogally. Having AAA devs target the #steamdeck for optimization means I'll always be able to get damn good performance.
#cyberpunk was pretty, the battery only went for 70 mins, but it sure was pretty!
As a comparison I can play #seaofstars for five hours.
Mobile gaming sure has come a long way since the game and watch!
Picked uo Jack Dragon by @psychicparrot42 on Steam for my #RogAlly. Feels like a great cross between BombJack and Bubble bobble, and the music is awesome.
