#WorkInProgress Painting up the Greater Good - Flamesword Battle General model kindly sent to me by Wargame Exclusive. I've had a lot of fun painting her so far, and I normally don't like painting Tau.
Quite pleased with him, spearhead took a while to get right but the little things are always the hardest, but it does have the exact look I wanted. The fix on the splodge on the hood turned out well and I went back in with some more highlights on the hood, even if they are hard to spot in pictures.
Only Logray to go for this box before the next Ewok box gets opened.
After being busy and not managing to get time at my paint desk, today I painted up an Ent model, really quick easy to paint, but the result is really nice.
Wicket is nice and underway, mostly done now. Just the spearhead and straps to go for the most part, and a splodge of paint that I got on the hood that I only noticed during taking the pictures.
Going to be fun trying to fix that, but at least it’s a but of the model I enjoy painting the most.
https://youtu.be/G1MZPJ_RnwQ?si=iRVDftACkoTZeXmc New video is up on YouTube. This week I have some fun with painting up an Imperial Guard Commissar inspired by Carl from Starship Troopers, with some How I Met Your Mother thrown in for good measure.
I was challenged to paint up a Tyranid inspired by the Xenomorph from Alien, I felt it needed something a bit more than just painting black and some drybrushing.
So I have still be doing my #HobbyStreak, just not really been posting due to a mixture of the family stuff and a dicky tummy, so let’s share what I have painted between days 77-84
I have been slowly plodding away with these Vigilors a little bit each day to keep up the #HobbyStreak, but posting has been not happening cause of some stuff at home
But here is a squad of Vigilors I have finished to show you for days 70-76
Yub Nub for base numero dos of the Ewok Trappers. Got all the lovely little details done.
Gave this lot some bright, colourful feathers and each of them got a unique colour of their spear grips. Had quite a lot fun doing it, and now we are just the two named characters to go before working on the bases.
Spearheads were done with a nice building of a gradient, could have just drybrushed them. But thats the easy way out.
