I'm finally making good progress on the Vyrkos Blood-borne from #cursedcity .
I'm quite happy with the fur and hair considering the scale.
I attempted NMM on the swords, but I was not happy, and I already tried a lot of new things on those models, so using regular metallic paint.
The last mini I'll be painting for a while as I'm heading to the airport in a few hours for a well-earned holiday. But as a last model, I painted this Tyranid for Hive Fleet Behemoth.
@erikcats thank you! I'm gutted that the made to order window has passed, so they are difficult to get hold of. But hopefully GW will do another run of them so people can get some see through ghosties!
Yesterday I painted up these Myrmourn Banshees for my Nighthaunt for day 145 of the #HobbyStreak so they will get put with the rest of the army in Storage tomorrow
Got the Glaivewraith Stalkers finished tonight, they were a bit rough and a bit damaged in places, no idea who gave them to me, but did my best to rescue them
Been working on these Glavewraith Stalkers for day 143 of the #Hobbystreak, and trying to make the weapons look nice and rusty, something I think I did okay with, using a combo of @thearmypainter and Citadel paints
A truly retro painting job today. I painted up this classic 2nd edition 40K Gretchin using everyone's most nostalgic colours. Paint quality may have moved on over the years, but there is a real joy to using these paints.
@DrunkOnTea totally, new minis are stunning but on the flip side they lose the sense of being a charming gaming piece. Lovely to see these on the table.
@Alexjgriffith these were all still sealed until today. I was surprised that none of them had dried up, but maybe the little pull away seal really did its job!
Half of the clear plastic ghosts box painted up. Knowing how quick and easy they are, I'll smash through the other half of the box when I only have a couple of hours to spare.
