Bit more progress here. Popped on the Wyldwood for the hard leather, did another rough coat on both the whites and the creamy cloths, then a big old dunk of Agrax. I’ll drybrush the white to bring it up again and do the remaining leathers, and that’ll be me onto weapons/metals and final touch ups. Then what I really want to be doing - shields!!
I fell in love with this Midlam Miniatures model as soon as I saw it. A Villager with his pig! The only way it could have been better is if it was Hobbit.
Spent today applying these tabs to all of my Middle Earth rule and campaign books. Hopefully, these will make it easier to find rules and unit profiles.

Today I painted up an Imperial Guardsman in the style of the Mobile Infantry from Starship Troopers. Two great satirical universes becoming one. "Service Guarantees Citizenship"
Finally, feeling human enough to get a few hours painting in today. So I decided to paint up the final Ruffian I needed for the Scouring of the Shire campaign.
Well, over the past few days I’ve managed to knock out all of the remaining parts of the Kraken (except the eye lenses, always forget those).
Think this is up there as one of the best models I’ve painted. Happy with all aspects of the paint I put on it, just need to get the base right really…
