I was today days old when I discovered you cannot buy Switch games on the Nintendo eShop without having first registered a Switch with the eShop. Which strikes me as a bit weird.
So I guess my evening is now setting up the kid’s birthday Switch, so I can download games before the sale runs out tomorrow. Bah.

Because when the mode is changed this damn thing
UnityEngine.Screen.currentResolution.width
gives me the same data 1280x720
UnityEngine.Screen.SetResolution does not work at all
