Taking the #MullvadBrowser plunge! Been needing to migrate away from Chrome/Chromium for too long. Let me know if you're using it. #browserSecurity #Mullvad @mullvadnet

Also setting up a #BitWarden account instead of my old KeePass.

Suggestions for both welcomed!

Brave-Browser: Warum ich ihn Gecko-basierten Browsern (Firefox) vorziehe

https://www.kuketz-blog.de/brave-browser-warum-ich-ihn-gecko-basierten-browsern-firefox-vorziehe/

freemind,

This is going to be a hard truth, and it is not going to be popular either.

I just finished building my own copy of Mozilla Firefox. I disabled, everything, and I do mean, everything. When done, there were no user settings, not even the simple back, forward, and home button. I stripped Gecko down to its core components, so the only function was to render websites.

You cannot optimize Firefox further (I don't think). I gutted it like a fish, and I think pushing it further would have broken it

@Linux_Is_Best have you checked out the #mullvadbrowser?

It is awesome.

15 years ago, on September 2, 2008, Google unleashed Chrome, but have you heard about Firefox?

While Chrome has its quirks, people will gladly tell you about the virtues of Firefox. It's like the trusty coffee shop on the corner of the street and the barista knows your coffee order by heart.

Remember, there's a fox out there offering an experience that's simply superior in so many ways.

@SinclairSpeccy The #mullvadbrowser w/ #mullvadvpn is a winning combo.

jacz,

@kuketzblog

It's so hard to install Mullvad browser on my Linux Mint laptop. I still haven't figured it out. Brave, Firefox and LibreWolf were easier.
