@MonaApp@jonny_kuang Feature request for new Mona character count in the composer: could we have it count DOWN rather than up, after detecting the current Masto server’s max char size, so we know how many chars we have left before the post gets threaded? Counting up isn’t really useful unless it shows something like 292/500 while typing. #MonaApp
Issue:
Accounts that i have added to a list and enabled "hide these posts from home" still show up in my home timeline if they use a hashtag that i follow.
So this results in me seing many posts twice. Once in my home and another when i check a list.
Feature request:
A way to have Mona filter posts so when a hashtag is posted by list member where hide from home is enabled, then exclude/hide that post from home?
I consider hashtags as a way to pull in content from posts (accounts) that i´m not already following, and not as a way to bypass my curated lists.

@drdrang Looks OK in #MonaApp to me. This appeared immediately when I searched for the profile and viewed their timeline. Could also be your particular #Mastodon server? Many moving parts here.
@Brian There are a lot of settings for sure but I do have the #MonaApp the way I like it. .
I do like #ivory but the app is a mess and development is ridiculously slow.
I did just pay for another year but immediately cancelled my subscription. If they finallly catch up and address the bugs, I will renew.

@BrotherEarth@IceCubesApp Giving #MonaApp another go. I tried #IceCubesApp previously. Maybe I will give it another go. At the time, I think Ice Cubes was missing sync across all devices.
@chopaganda@Brian@MonaApp Agree, #MonaApp handles mutes like blocks. Kind of weak. Hope there are plans to change this in the next release, which is supposedly a big one. Anyone running the beta who can confirm?
@chopaganda@Brian@MonaApp Do you use iCloud sync with the #MonaApp? Couple of times I launched the app and it moved to the top of the timeline. Didn’t hold position. See how this goes. If this continues may have to start using two apps. Ugh.
@MonaApp#MonaApp Feature request for someday: when working with a draft, and exiting out, could the “Delete” and “Save Draft” options be a bit more separated/spaced out from each other? It’s easy to tap the wrong option on a small phone screen. I’ve lost drafts when attempting to tap “save”, but my finger has accidentally brushed the “delete” option instead. Or perhaps a way to temporarily recover or undo a deleted draft? Thank you! 😊
#MonaApp can invoke the DeepL translation function. If it can also support OpenAI (AzureOpenAI) translation in the future, it would be unimaginably perfect. Well, at least for me. @MonaApp
Got a little time this morning so I’m going to test out Mona’s new long post threading feature by telling the story of why we are so fucking psyched to have finally closed on a house in Denver.
So Allie and I had great jobs in NYC, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a space we actually wanted in NYC—at least without the kind of sacrifice we’d need to make for a meager two-bedroom condo in a decent neighborhood. (1/7)
