For October this year we did a Simpsons Treehouse (Halloween special) themed piece EVERY day of the month. It was wild! And tough haha 😅 but so fun and worth it.
Sometimes it's cool for the brain to challenge yourself to something, see if you have the discipline to see it to completion. Doesn't always work, but amazing when it does!
Boston area peeps, what happened to chocolate being # 1? What’s with the aversion to Snickers too? (I separate all nut containing candies in their own bowl, so not allergies).
I just went through so much Sour Patch Kids & Sour Punch Twists, I’m thinking of limiting the chocolate choices next year!
there's this awesome Halloween house just down the street that goes all out with the graveyard and scary skeleton schtick. he had a projector with scary spirits on the garage door, a smoke machine, scary music - the whole shebang. there's also a homemade sign lit up with flashing LEDs that has 'Hell's Gate Cemetery' on it, lol.
LAST YEAR I got 5 packages of full size candy bars for trick or treaters so we could take care of up to 175 treats. But alas, only 25 came. This year I cut back to have enough for 100 treats but maybe still too much? Almost 5:30 pm so I’m wondering when they will start. Maybe a big disappointment because the local ball team is in the World Series? #Halloween#Halloween2023#Candy
I didn’t have time to put together a Halloween costume this year, but this is something like what I would’ve gone with - a “mammoth” (or a mastodon, if you prefer😉)

It really cold out so, it’s cramping things.
We do full sized candy and we’ve been handing out hard cos it’s been light, & we had a straggler in the last group, and as she was was walking off, J asked her: “don’t you want more?”
She loooked back and with a serious expression just shook her head. 😂
She was adorable!
