Everytime I go on Odysee, the content there seems to drift more and more towards conspiracy theories, complete disinformation and nonsense, or at worst ultra racist / xenophobic / hateful rethoric. The staff has a history of just saying amen to everything, including white supremacist stuff.
I’ve been thinking of abandoning it (I would keep PeerTube as the alternative to YouTube for people who really don’t want to use YT). Out of curiosity, a little poll about my content:
@thelinuxEXP@personanongrata We are seeing very different things then… My #Odysee home page is all #tech , #astronomy / #space and a little bit of #gaming (I haven’t been able to find too many decent gaming channels as yet). I rarely - if ever - see the content you guys are talking about (as I mentioned elsewhere, I do see it in the comments for certain channels I follow - but those comments are almost always “slimmed” / downvoted to the point of being hidden by default).
I love geodes. If I were in SDV I would be digging through gunther's trash getting all the geodes the player threw away so he could get the... coal/mud/earth crystal inside. I'd make my own Geode museum but not let gunther or the player in, because they don't appreciate geodes.
Apple added over 20 titles to Arcade today. But the things I would die for: remastered versions of Flight Control and Harbor Master. Maybe even Plants vs Zombies. I spent so much time playing these titles back in the day and I miss the time when this whole In-App-Coin-Scam-Thing wasn’t even a thing yet.
I'm working on setting up a mini-PC as a retro gaming console, and was wondering what linux distro would be best to use for it? #linux#gaming#RetroGaming
Thinkin' about replaying #Earthbound again and I realized I have like half a dozen different ways to play it now :P SNES Mini, 3DS, three different emu options, and so on :P #Gaming#RetroGaming
