Upscaled this precious old photo, taken during a computer party of The Jungle Command in the late 1980s. At the far left is P(i)eter Opdam, one of the two coders of our game development team: Soft Eyes / Team Hoi. He left to the UK to work on the first Worms game for Team 17.
The one with the T-shirt in his hands is our game music composer Ramon Braumuller. He got the T-shirt from The Jungle Command for his birthday. I'm standing next to Ramon, wearing a whitish shirt.
The guy scratching his eye is Ron Klaren a.k.a. Master Blaster, the music composer of Battle Squadron.
The one at the far right is Mark Langerak, who made The Plague (Amiga) together with Ron Klaren, before Mark went to the US to work on MicroProse games.
Such great early years of the digital revolution. ❤️

First #solo#game of the evening was #ArkNova, but sadly, it was a loss. Hard to get used to how rapidly breaks come towards the end of this game. I ended up with a ton of money but nothing to do with it at end. Plus, getting all my workers out but getting ZERO bonuses from them because of the player mat I had, was detrimental.
I've played the #LegendOfZelda#TearsOfTheKingdom for well over 10 hours now, probably more like 15. So I wanted to share my thoughts on it. Without spoilers.
I see #TotK as a perfect example on how to make a game's sequel. Everything that worked well in #BotW was preserved or there's more of it, all things needing a change got it, which hasn't worked was substituted or removed. Also a lot of improvements and more of the awesome.
The scale of the world is breathtaking. I love how new elements and introduced cultures are fitting into the world.
Of course this #Zelda installation isn't perfect. Things like using fused arrows are a pain. There are moments where animation isn't smooth. But given how packed this game is, those problems look minor at best.
I'm enjoying every bit of this game, and I can stand behind Metacritic's score of 96. Totally a must play.
One more back porch #game tonight since the weather is impeccable. This time, going back to #TheSearchForPlanetX which I haven't played in a few months. Much more a logic puzzle than a game but fun nonetheless.
#Thursday is getting closer! Excited for two things! #NFL schedule and #Asus presentation. Crazy that I’m excited for things Not Apple or NHL or MLB 🤓😂
Rolled the credits on another #Game last night! #Ravenlok was such a great game. I highly recommend it. A great fantasy adventure game. Going to go back and snag two achievements I missed though. I’ll be posting my review in a day or two 💻 Now to find my next game 😀🤔
Second solo game of the evening was #Libertalia#WindsOfGalecrest and I got myself a win, 85 to 80. This #game has a super underrated #solo mode to it that I wish got more love.
