@F1 I love watching a sport where the result can change hours after the finish 😡
If you can’t enforce track limit during the race then don’t bother. F1 is one of the most technically advanced sport in the world. You must be able to do better.
These are the silly things #F1 is really good at. Shooting itself in the foot.
@bazcurtis@F1 100% agree. You should know the final placings when the race ends. That's it. #F1
For all its issues, #VAR in #football has this sorted better. It's clear to everyone what the issue is, decision is made, game moves on and ends, No more changes,
For some of us of a cough cough certain age and heritage ("Magee? Dat would be the County Tyrone Magee's, then?") Pat Jennings is legendary goalkeeper who stands like a colossus in our memories. I never saw him play but his image alone made us reach for our goalkeeper gloves and spend hours, standing in between two posts and what looked like an impossible area to cover.

Pat made his Northern Ireland debut as a mere 18 year old on 15 April 1964, against Wales, Northern Ireland won the game 3–2. A skinny kid named George Best made his international debut in the same game....
Torbay Trojans play another home game today, this time against Cornwall Monarchs, should be a good game, hopefully the English Riviera Airshow won't be too much of a distraction, 7:51 we have clear conditions, it is going to be a very hot day again, but we are up for it.
Watching #NottsCounty vs #Borehamwood battle in #NationalLeague action. What a season County has had, earning over 100 pts. I've really enjoyed my #nationalLeagueTV sub this season. It would be a shame if County were not promoted to #EFL#LeagueTwo, but BHW supporters will disagree with me on that.
Props to the #Toffees for staying up, a historic Liverpool club survives its worst season ever and avoids relegation. My heart goes out to #LeicesterCity football club and all its fans, who after an unexpected magical season in 2016 have now been relegated to the Championship league in 2023. A stunning fall. I know their time there will be short-lived as they will surely be back in the #PremierLeague soon. #EPL#sport#football
The Women's Super League season came to an end yesterday and it was a really enjoyable season. The BBC did a good write-up reviewing each team's campaign:
For me, this season was one of the best in terms of how competitive the league was. It's great to see the competition gap close up and attendance records being set.
Looking forward to the Women's World Cup in July, which will be a great showcase for women's football.
