Awoke with a headache and stiff neck after a fitful night. Advil and Arnika should help. How I'd love to have an uninterrupted nights rest. I'd gladly settle for more than 2 hours at a clip. On the plus side, was greeted by a thunderstorm when I awoke. Just a gentle rain with occasional rumbles; nothing extreme (they're due this afternoon). "Bei Einsätzen am 19. und 23. April 2024 stellte die Polizei in zwei Mehrfamilienhäusern in der Johanna-Melzer-Straße und in der Münsterstraße in Dortmund mehrere gestohlene Fahrräder sicher, die derzeit den rechtmäßigen Besitzerinnen und Besitzern nicht zugeordnet werden können.
Dafür gibt es unterschiedliche Gründe, u.a., dass der Diebstahl noch nicht bemerkt oder nicht angezeigt wurde. Auch wenn der Polizei bei einer Diebstahlsanzeige die Rahmennummer nicht angegeben wird, ist eine schnelle Zuordnung eines sichergestellten Fahrrades nicht möglich.
Daher veröffentlicht die Polizei jetzt Fotos der teils hochwertigen Fahrräder. Wer erkennt auf den beigefügten Bildern sein Fahrrad und kann den Besitz durch eine Rechnung, einen Kaufbeleg, einen Fahrradpass, Fotos oder andere Quellen eindeutig nachweisen?
Wir bitten schnellstmöglich - spätestens bis zum 30. Juni 2024 - um Anruf unter Tel. 0231 / 132 7851 (Montag bis Freitag, 8 bis16 Uhr). Die Polizei bittet nur dann unter dieser Rufnummer anzurufen, wenn ein eigenes Rad auf diesen Fotos wiedererkannt wurde - unter dieser Rufnummer werden keine Auskünfte zu anderen Fahrrad-Diebstählen erteilt.
Nach Ablauf der oben genannten Frist übergibt die Polizei die Räder entweder dem Fundbüro oder einer caritativen Fahrradwerkstatt, welche die Räder bei Bedarf aufarbeitet und verkauft.
Die Polizei rät: Sichern Sie Ihre Fahrräder mit hochwertigen Schlössern vor Diebstählen. Schließen Sie Fahrräder nicht nur ab, sondern an einen festen Gegenstand an. Halten Sie Haus- und Kellertüren sowie Garagen verschlossen.
Fotografieren Sie Ihr Fahrrad auch in Details, bewahren Sie Rechnungen und Kaufbelege auf (auch von zusätzlich montiertem Zubehör). Mit diesen Nachweisen kann die Polizei nach Prüfung ein sichergestelltes Fahrrad herausgeben.
Zeigen Sie einen Diebstahl an und bringen dafür alle wichtigen Informationen mit, damit die Polizei bei Datenrecherchen das Rad schnell finden kann, wenn es entdeckt wurde. "

Ein seltsame Mischung aus @tazgetroete und #Focus liegen auf dem Warenband. Sowohl die Focus-Titelstory als auch die taz erwähnen Leena Simon ( @reticuleena ) und verwenden Materialien und Aussagen von ihr. Natürlich nicht ohne auf ihr (wie es gerne nenne) Standardwerk „Digitale Mündigkeit“ hinzuweisen. Auf meinen kleinen Anteil daran bin ich schon ein bisschen stolz.

The small island of Kish (91.5km2) was quickly traveled around by car. In one of the typical Iranian picnic huts right on the seaside, we took a late lunch break. Behnam made fries and Marc cooked lentils with babaganoush. We already know, the Iranians always eat the national bread 'lavash' with everything. And of course, we are always offered the bread over and over again. But since we are gluten intolerant, we have to constantly decline. It is really difficult to make it clear that we will not try a single bite of the bread...
Just before sunset, suddenly a lot of people appeared. Everyone was taking selfies, photographing their posing partners and tried to capture the perfect shot while the sun sank into the sea. It was truly a beautiful sight and Marc and I were fascinated by the spectacle. As soon as the sun was gone, all the crowd had disappeared as well. From Bandare Laft we took the ferry to Iran mainland. Our plan was to pedale along the coast northwards, to stay a bit longer in the warmth. The weatherforcast for the inland regions (Shiraz, Yazd etc. ) is still a bit chilly, espeacially at night...
