For me, living/functioning with tinnitis means forgetting that I have tinnitis. Some days are harder than others. Like today. I can actually feel the buzzing. If you have tinnitis, what do you do to cope? Tonight, I'll plug in my noise machine and hope it does the trick.

Today, we go back to April 17, 2020. We were in the thick of the pandemic and most of the country was under lockdown. A glance into what’s news from that day gave me this dire report:
I was doing the kind of gardening that uses tiny brushes, tweezers, and an X-acto knife while doing mindfulness exercises concerning self-compassion, and having a lovely time. Then, it popped into my head that I once joked about what it would do to my psyche if I started meditating on my carnivorous plants, given their seductive and predatory nature. I guess I’m about to find out. Anyway, Scarlet Belle and the tippitiwichets had a spa day.
And… The #EnglishPremierLeague is back, so don’t expect a lot of toots from this account on match days. Imma one sport guy, and the #EPL is my favorite #Football league - though I follow Spanish, German, French and Italian leagues as well. Regrettably, I’m a #Coys fan and thus never see my team holding trophies at the end of the season, but that’s part of the game. Now that #HarryKane has gone to Bayern Munich, I’m not sure what we’re going to do. #Soccer#Futbol#sport

Es ist paradox: Damit befördern sie den eigenen Abbau vermutlich noch mehr.
Dabei wäre es so einfach, das Unvermeidliche (the old lady next door: sadly, ratio is already gone, among others) fröhlich zu gestalten, ohne Jammern.
