@msprout keep me in touch with the models you're working with. I'm also trying to stay ahead of the curve. #Vicuna is perfect on Apple Silicon M2P, it's almost as fast as #GPT3. I saw also #huggingface made an Open Source alternative to #ChatGPT but it's overloaded.
1️⃣ asked #ChatGPT what a good image prompt would be for a catchy cover image for a Indie Rock playlist
2️⃣ created the image with that prompt
3️⃣ used Spotify algorithm (search) to find a song list
4️⃣ asked ChatGPT for a list of top Indie Rock songs
5️⃣ used randomize.org do shuffle the list (not AI)
Very basic usage.
AI could do more, like analysing the moods, the tempi, the BPMs, the danceability and the keys (via Spotify API) to fine-tune a playlist...
#AI
Tomorrow I will destroy #chatgpt by asking it how to get a teenage kid to keep his room tidy. I fully expect it to first run into a frenzied endless loop, trying to solve this devious impossible problem, and then to sink into a catatonic freeze, not answering any further questions.
Maybe this is an unpopular take, but why are people getting so hung up on #chatGPT if it's still getting so many things wrong in an at times hard to verify way?
Maybe my queries have just been too specific but I have never actually seen the thing say something halfway useful yet. It all sounds authoritative enough, but doesn't hold up to the smallest amount of scrutiny. Am I just asking it the wrong things? Does it get better with GPT4? I just don't see it yet. So far, what I see is another Facebook that tricks people into thinking they're smart by parrotting something the internet said without fact-checking, just on demand now rather than on the schedule of others. Is it actually useful to folks yet as a way to learn new facts/information or does it just summarize and generate clickbaity blog posts so far?
MIT Technology Review:
"A Cambridge Analytica-style scandal for AI is coming"
It's all about GDPR which, oddly, the likes of ChatGPT seem not to have thought about. And then there's all the copyright infringement actions coming down the tubes.

Consumers can not afford to wait for years before they are protected when dealing with the likes of #ChatGPT & other systems. That's why we have written to consumer protection (CPC) & safety (CSN) authorities to ask for a full inquiry into these kinds of chatbots. #AIAct
Using #ChatGPT to craft #PHP code is much like pairing with a Junior Engineer. So long as you know exactly what the outcome should be you can guide it to the right answer. A lot of hype for a tool which while advanced for narrow AI of its type, is not replacing anyone yet.
Most of my feed today was AI focused. News articles, comments, opinions. I even had real world conversations at work about ChatGPT 2 times.
It’s incredibly how much this topic has taken off in so many different circles.
@IzzoD@Donaupiratin Constant erring, making things up, having distorted memories, rationalising mistakes – #chatgpt seems very much like a human-level intelligence.
