In a surprise move, Morgen stretches her rear paw with toes spread in greeting. Full sunlight brings out the full sheen of her fur and its many dark shades.
It's usually her front paw. But Morgen does not believe in wasted motion.
Good morning everyone! We are celebrating today because it marks one week since we brought this little foundling, Pax, into our home. These are her before and after photos.
I pulled this luggage over to my computer so she stopped trying to get on top of my keyboard and desk. Now she sits and watches me or sleeps. She will still cuddle on my lap though.
The association Saving Wildcats has gotten approval to begin releasing captive-bred wildcats into Cairngorms National Park in northeast Scotland, starting in June. This is sort of a trial period, during which they'll be releasing small numbers, tracking them with GPS collars, and seeing how they do:
