"The "Save the Bees" campaign addresses the alarming decline in bee populations. Robots like the BeeHome, equipped with AI and computer vision, could revolutionize beekeeping by monitoring and addressing colony issues. This hi-tech approach aims to mitigate the loss of bees, which threatens global food supply. Other efforts include using AI-powered robots for crop pollination and promoting eco-friendly practices."
We inspected #beehives today. We have concluded we just don't know enough. The #bees in the original hive were practically lethargic and haven't gotten anything done (i.e. no new frames drawn out) despite having been fed a couple of weeks ago. #beekeeping /1
#beehives at night. Moving bees in the morning. Several nice hives. One not nice hive... will deal with that in the morning. Hope the duct tape holds, LOL. #beekeeping
I think it's cute how I'm fertilizing my #pumpkins so they make lots of #flowers and the #bees are carrying their nectar back to my neighbor's #beehives. Maybe one day the energy I poured into my planters will wind up in my neighbor's tea! #gardening
Interesting, one of our #beehives appears to be foraging wild olive trees. (the provenance of those olives is very unclear, they are wild olive trees--ancient--underneath the oaks here. Perhaps spread by birds from early settlers?) Never had olive honey before! #beekeeping
Rubus fruticosus, amazing #wildlife#NativePlant, with blossom and edible fruit. Supports at least 450 species of invertebrate. Who wouldn't want this in their #WildlifeGarden?
