Sometimes, I just need to hear it.
I’m at the point in my life now where I can’t hear random single songs from this album anymore. It’s something that I have to listen to as a whole from start to finish.
If I hear one song on the radio, or on TV, all it does is drive me to either putting this record on, or play it front to back while I’m driving.
The world sucks ass without Prince in it. #vinyl#vinylrecords#prince#80s#80smusic

Last night was a lot of fun - I went to see a live 80s music tribute band called "Totally 80s".
It turned out it was the band's first ever professional gig. But they got through it very well, performing a great selection of 80s pop music.
I won't quite say ALL the classics, but there was enough Wham!, Duran Duran, Soft Cell, Madonna and FGTH to keep everyone happy. Even a little bit of Teardrop Explodes for the indy kids!
The audience were largely men and women (mostly women) of a certain age -- just like me! -- but in our heads we were all teenagers again. Lots of joyful singing and dancing took place and nobody even pulled any muscles!
There are definitely worse ways of spending a Friday night.
"Wheels Are Turnin'", the eleventh studio album by REO Speedwagon was released today in 1984. The album features their #1 hit single ""Can't Fight This Feeling,". #80s#80smusic#1980s
