The #redditblackout has moved to a new stage... from a two day blackout to indefinitely shutting down... to people moving away entirely.
Yes, r/startrek has lifted off from #reddit and moved to #lemmy -- and with it, a realization that we need an easy way to help people find their new, old communities that have moved from reddit to #lemmy#kbin and whatever else pops up.
I started a quick and dirty list that you can share and contribute to (PRs welcome!).
With confirmed affiliated or migrating communities popping up for subreddits with at million plus subscribers for topics like #csgo#3dprinting#mma#Philippines#piracy#gaming and #zerowaste -- all to the #fediverse, Reddit's recent actions seem to be producing huge interest in alternative platforms!

It is Tuesday with another big update! No moves (yet) for #redditMigration today, but I still added a new section to the list!
That's right, we're now tracking subreddits on #reddit that are run by "scabs", where reddit admins intervened to promote lower ranked moderators to the top moderator position.
I'm sad to report that communities focused on #celebrities, IWantToLearn, JustGuysBeingDudes, searchandrescue, and #toyota#tacoma are now run by corpo-friendly mods.
Small update for the #redditMigration. Pressure from #reddit is letting opportunism win - two subreddits were brought out of the #redditblackout as "scab" subreddits - I added r/AssholeDesign and r/snackexchange as subreddits now run by scabs.
A small subreddit is also migrating to #kbin -- a community devoted to #floating being #fun -- yep, r/FloatingIsFun is migrating. Check them out on Fedia!
