jncn, 11 months ago @jon Yeah, that’s the pre order feature of the App Store. The reason is that Apple doesn’t allow to set different launch dates for different regions with this feature. In the Threads launch scenario, they set a launch date for the US and hid it for the rest of the world. On Friday then, someone at Meta will have to manually flip the switch for all other countries and it will be available instantly.
