@jncn yes. But there’s a sort of waiting list for the app and that doesn’t work in Europe.

@jon Yeah, that’s the pre order feature of the App Store.

The reason is that Apple doesn’t allow to set different launch dates for different regions with this feature.

In the Threads launch scenario, they set a launch date for the US and hid it for the rest of the world.

On Friday then, someone at Meta will have to manually flip the switch for all other countries and it will be available instantly.

I don't have an iPhone but an iPad. Not seeing it in the store for Finland on that, but the website version of the store says it's iPhone only.

@jon I’m in Australia and just successfully enabled notification on IOS App Store for when Threads would become available. No error here.

@jon @fiz not available in German store. But with my US-AppleID I can see it.

Let’s see if it will be installed in two days, even if I switched back to my German iCloud account. 🤷‍♂️

Im curious what this app will look like and what will be the experience compared to @ivory.
