This morning on my walk to my meeting, I saw one of those high-power scooters race (probably 40+km/hr) down St Patrick and completely blow the light at Dalhousie and was narrowly missed getting clipped by a car that had right-of-way.
No helmet, no gloves, or any other protection. That person is going to get themselves seriously injured in short order, methinks. 🤔
@WTL There was a dude in my neighbourhood on one of those one wheel thingies that would routinely do 60+ on local streets. No equipment ... seems be gone now.
