This is your regular reminder that most communications on Telegram are not end-to-end encrypted. Channels and groups are never end-to-end encrypted and 1-on-1 messages are only end-to-end when explicitly enabled.
@just_a_rock@evacide they pay lip service, they apparently have a list somewhere of extremists they've banned, but they've also published statements saying that they feel like their Al Qassam Brigade channels are fine.
@evacide I’m a big fan of #Wire for that purpose. I know one of the cofounders and he’s legitimately invested in security. I don’t know why it isn’t raised more often in these conversations.
