Why oh why did they mess up the production on this album then? The songs are so good, the album is supposed to sound great, not like it was recorded in a tin can.

I have a hard time rating it, honestly. With better production this would be a 5/5 candidate, but all things considered, I'll settle with 4/5 dead Miriams.

On "Them", #KingDiamond is still King Diamond and does what King Diamond does.

I love his vocals, I love the drums (in theory, because they are really bad mixed), I love the guitars and the 🔥 solos.

BUT (yes, there is a but) I heard all of that on the last 2 albums already, so here's hoping for a bit of develpment from now on.

Them is definitely a good album, 3.5 out of 5.

Well, that was a great listen! King Diamond's "The Spider's Lullabye" sounds fantastic and I love the "Painkiller" like guitars and drums. I had to check if that was Scott Travis (narrator: he wasn't).
