Update: When Mitch McConnell was blocking Obama‘a Supreme Court nominee, holding open the seat that Neil Gorsuch would later fill, Anschutz gave $500,000 to McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund (superPAC) on March 15, 2016.
One day after the Super PAC received Anschutz’s $500,000 contribution, Mitch McConnell stated that blocking an Obama Supreme Court nominee was about “a principle, not a person,” and that the American people should have a “voice” in the process.

@skykiss This would overrule countless laws passed by Congress over many decades. And the justification isn’t the constitution. It’s the “major questions doctrine” which was literally invented by the Supreme Court.
Congress can push back on the court in a number of ways; but with the Republican party of today, I don’t see it happening anytime soon. Welcome to your 9 robed overlords; your vote doesn’t matter; laws and the constitution don’t matter. They own you, and billionaires own them.

We have to figure out a way to remove the corrupt Thomas and Alito, and be radical in our aims for the future. If GQP can plot democracy's destruction for decades, supporters of the constitution can figure out how to stop them. With the billionaires on their side it certainly is challenging. 2024 is our time to change this. We have to give it everything we have got. We expand the "Supreme" Court, give them independent oversight, and enact regulation to narrow their influence.

These corrupt "Supreme" fascists must be stopped from making up their own doctrines out of thin air, and overturning policy and precedents enacted by ELECTED officials and representatives. Especially because of the extremely shady way these MAGAt judges were installed in the first place.
