An SUV veered into the bike lane to pass someone else just as I was coming up beside on my bike. I gave him an "I'm disappointed" head shake, and the next time I passed him he rolled down the window and screamed "EAT MY AH*!!" Very normal and cool reaction! 🙃
@mbonsma I’ve heard the phrase “nobody becomes a better person behind the wheel” enough, I don’t need the daily reminders our local rage-commuters provide.
@mbonsma you never know how a driver is going to react. There are enough situations I have heard about, from guns to baseball bats to being driven off the road, that you really should not engage.
@mbonsma I saw a driver swearing to another driver, half hanging out of his window. He was beyond livid (F word and all) bc that other driver didn’t let him merge into a lane on Billing’s Bridge. Nothing was moving in the first place. Usually they have other issues. I rarely react. Not worth it.
