@Rasta I suppose the correct answer is that I need a little more. I definitely can't afford a brand new car. Used but in decent condition is fine. I chose the mortgage too, technically. If I bought a car a few years ago, I probably wouldn't be able to afford the mortgage. How do people afford 40000 dollar cars anyway? I think the most I would pay is 20000.
