@nixCraft I don’t understand why people use Chrome. There’re perfectly good browser alternatives that are actually better that aren’t google, , company whose whole business is selling your privacy.

Completely agree. To me Firefox runs better and has more features. Except if you use macOS then chromium runs much better, at least on Silicon in my experience. But on windows and Linux Firefox runs better. @nixCraft
@nixCraft did something happen recently? This was exactly me a few years ago after recognizing what's happening with my data. This plus Firefox is more customizable and free software.
@nixCraft To be fair, it's kind of a straw that broke the camel's back for myself (and I suspect I'm not the only one.) I honestly believe there is zero chance that the whole WEI thing will actually pass (though I worry it may be a "daddy can I have a pony?" thing.) Still, it's one in a long series of things they've been doing in recent times that are just too anti-consumer for me to want to keep sticking with them. The fact they're proposing it says a lot about where they're going.
