actually thats kind of funny but i like it haha probably i just too much spamming my "hacking" on COSMIC stuff but thats what im doing basically whole time ;p
@elevenhsoft@triskelion@burntkrispe The main reason I thought there was a direct/"official" relation was because the post was boosted by a S76 employee who's one of their main community outreach people, sorry
I just installed COSMIC Desktop on Fedora 40. It works smoothly and is very fast. All apps open instantly with no glitches or hangs, and everything functions perfectly. Well Done, COSMIC team. #cosmic#desktop#fedora40#system76
Just a huge THANK YOU to everyone that attended, spoke and helped run #lfnw#lfnw2024
It was one of the best weekends and gatherings I've been to. Special props to #system76 and #jupiterbroadcasting That did SO MUCH behind the scenes to make this so awesome.

🦀 System76 Now Planning For COSMIC Desktop Alpha Release In Late May | Phoronix
「 System76 had been planning an initial alpha release of their Rust-written COSMIC desktop environment to debut at the end of Q1 (March), but now they are delaying the first alpha to May for allowing time to wrap up feature work on their new desktop apps 」
It's eye-wateringly expensive, does anyone have any experience with these to give me a sense of how well it would work with Steam before I close my eyes and click "add to cart"?
@bgardner OK then. I've been using Linux since it came on floppies, I've also built hundreds of pcs. I'm in my 50s too. You aren't talking to some RGB poisoned YouTube influencer.
You will not achieve what you want to achieve (avoiding wasting money on a not upgradable pc) by using any system integrator.
Your original question was answered in my first post.
@bgardner Again, since you're unwilling to even hear me, no matter what you want to buy go to pcpartpicker and CHECK THE PARTS PRICING. CHECK THE PARTS COMPATIBILITY.
