the ceiling in this bathroom collapsed during Ian and fell into this bathtub, and ripped tile off of the wall surround. but the floor and tile around the tub was intact, so we just tried to find tile that coordinated with the existing tile. the room is not painted yet.

does anyone have any good ideas for ways to utilize the space in this walk in closet, especially above the top shelf (yes, very tall ceilings, yes I'm short, yes I will just keep a step stool in here if I have to).

Before I just had my sweaters and jeans stacked and it was a mess. (but they're rarely worn here so it was ok that they were up high- I just want it to be tidier). thanks!

in my watercolor class a couple of weeks ago, the instructor was like, "do you want to sell your art?" and my answer is no, and she seemed disappointed. she said something implying that unless you are trying to sell it, you're not serious and aren't going to invest the time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ uhm, I paid for a class that is held during my workday and I'm going to it and then working late... on a Friday. anyway, kind of weird? none of my other art instructors have said anything like that!

I got a surprising amount of work done quickly this morning plus started dinner so I found some yarn upstairs that wasn't going to work for the pattern I had planned it for. instead , we'll #knit a hat. I cast on and did the first two rounds of ribbing.

I was just doing a duolingo vocabulary match exercise in spanish-english and it gave me "Internet" and what happened was I remembered the localization qa work I did at a startup back in 99-2001 to set up the windows images in ghost for the qa lab and "la red" !! to configure the network. 😅 duolingo has not covered that yet until today.

hesh figured out he could scratch his elbow sutures with his powerful back leg. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I vetwrapped it and ... he pulled it down with his back leg. his elbow has looked so good throughout this recovery and I do not want to backtrack! poor itchy boy. (tomorrow is one week since surgery)

the process to publish a custom ssrs report to the erp system involves:

• either using an old version of visual studio or manually copying an old 2010 xml schema line to the file before publishing
• manually copying a file to a web server to a directory where you want it to show up in the application
• going to the application, report administrator, clicking some publish button
• this copies the rdl file into the erp's database as well as copying to the reporting server

I am almost done with the walk-in closet. travel bags, bed linens, jeans, and sweaters left (all on shelves or the floor). doing this when half of the house is still uninhabitable is really not easy. but progress was made and the painting crew should be able to easily work on a few areas.
