TIL the potatoes to absorb salt in a too-salty thing isn't a real thing. so going to use cabbage and onion and maybe water to see if I can salvage this thing I made and froze a few months ago. if not I guess there's leftovers or we order pizza.

I finally get back to debugging the broken report, knowing the issue has to be outside of the report itself. Hmm, oh, let me check this table it uses...
this job has been running since the 26th, filling this table with 0,1,0,1. many many many rows. the reason for the huge transaction log and the broken report.
killed the job, fixed the job code, truncated the table, scheduled a one-off run of the job for later this evening. 😂
(underlying cause- ceo switch. this broke a different way last time and I fixed that but they changed process this time in hris&erp and so it broke in a new way).
i just sneezed in a waiting room and everyone laughed at me 😩 my partner is always getting freaked out by my very loud, powerful sneezes so it feels like he wins this one. 😂 (I used to throw my shoulder out when I sneezed, been a while since I did that at least)
