Another day of "sunshine & showers" all coming in from the NW on a strong cold NW wind

Thundery downpours and hail later on as well, with a lot of random sporadic isolated Ninja showers, heavy at times

The further south (and east) you are, the more chance you've got of missing them

Some will get. Some won't

Not much change over the next 2-3 days

Windy says not much change from my original forecast

Rain across much of southern Scotland and up in the NE just now, with wintry showers over the high ground

By lunchtime most of southern and central Scotland will be wet, along with much of the eastern side of the country

Wind wise we have a cold easterly blowing in off the North Sea for eastern Scotland. Further north though, it’s more of a NE, a bitterly cold NE

Highs of +6/8c degrees

Another dank day for most with heavy rain across parts of the NE which creeps along the Moray coast as we go through the day

Further south, there's heavy showers over parts of central and southern Scotland

If it does stop, it'll stay dank most of the day. As forecast

Not much change though guys, with HEAVY RAIN across southern Scotland initially but it does creep further NORTHwards as we go through the day

By lunchtime much of southern, central and highland Scotland will be wet, with only the bit at the top staying dry

Clears from the SOUTH later on (if yer lucky)

And as we go through the day the main RAINband sinks down through the country in a SE direction

Expect travel disruption. Loss of Power. Structural damage and Flooding, especially across WESTERN Scotland and the NORTH WEST

There's nothing untoward about the GUSTS we'll be getting - in general 50-60mph, with 60-70mph in places, peaking about 80-90mph in the most exposed areas, especially across parts of western Scotland and the NW . . . . But what makes ISHA different this time, is the area it'll cover, and the duration

It's very seldom we see the whole of Scotland under an amber weather warning, with much of Norn Iron, Wales and the western side of Englandshire covered as well

I don't think there's anybody alive that can accurately forecast where, when, and how much SNOW we're getting next week, including me the Windmeister

I'm gonnae put ma baws on the block though and say I think we'll get a few flurries on Sunday (probably up north) . . . Then the next best chance after that is probably Wednesday (although it might start to creep in late Tuesday night)

Highland Scotland late afternoon with SNOW over the higher routes, especially the A9 so bear that in mind if yer travelling
