Heads up, people! We published a new TUXEDO OS ISO - sadly just for removing a feature. 😞 From now on, installation won't offer encrypted installations out of the box. Main reasons for that are:

• LUKS1 is pretty slow and considered insecure
• Keyboard inputs at decryption prompt are delayed
• only en_US is possible, no umlauts etc. for other languages easily accessible

Ich bräuchte mal einen Tipp bzgl günstiger Convertibles. Ich habe da bisher immer gerne das Acer Travelmate Spin B3 empfohlen, wundere mich aber etwas, dass das seit 3 Jahren unverändert am Markt ist und es keinen Nachfolger gibt. Es gibt das Travelmate Spin P4, das ist aber wahnsinnig teuer.

Gesucht: Ein günstiges stabiles Convertible mit Stift, Kosten ca. 300€, Linux-kompatibel. Kein Chromebook.

Ist nicht für mich, sondern für eine Empfehlungsliste!

Hallo, wäre es technisch eigentlich machbar einen Laptop zu konstruieren, der per Docking an eine Einheit mit mehr CPUs/Graphik CPUs und besserer Kühlung angeschlossen werden kann?
Oft werden Laptops halt mega heiß oder müssen (lautstark) kühlen weil natürlich so wenig Platz zur Verfügung steht.
