Zu dem für heute angekündigten #Starkregen wieder die Erinnerung:

Geht oder fahrt unter keinen Umständen in überflutete Gebiete, egal wie flach es aussieht!

Geht noch viel weniger in volllaufende Keller oder Garagen! Wenn da irgendwas wichtiges drin ist, dann holt es jetzt hoch.

Sichert jetzt, wenn es noch geht und ihr in exponierten Lagen wohnt, Eingänge und Kellerschächte ab. Wenn das Wasser erstmal da ist, ist es zu spät.

Einerseits ist es wichtig Dinge zu hinterfragen und zu kritisieren. Nur so entsteht Fortschritt. Andererseits muss man aber auch Dinge so nehmen wie sie sind und das beste draus machen und sich auch an was erfreuen, sonst macht das Leben auch keinen Spaß.

Toxisch wird es wenn man anderen quasi den Spaß nimmt indem man sie kritisiert dass sie was positives erleben ohne die negativen Aspekte genügend berücksichtigt zu haben.

Ich mach jetzt hier mal einen Crashkurs polnische Aussprache, weil mir das langsam in den Ohren weh tut, wie falsch das alles ständig ausgesprochen wird. 😁

Erstmal die gute Nachricht vorweg: Im Gegensatz zu Französisch oder Englisch ist das alles komplett regelmäßig und man spricht es quasi genau so aus, wie es da steht und man es auf Deutsch auch aussprechen würde.

Jetzt kommt das große aber... 🧵

Genau so wie im Deutschen gibt es im polnischen einige Buchstabenkombination, die eine gesonderte Aussprache haben. Im Deutschen kennen wir da zum Beispiel "au" oder "eu".

Im polnischen gibt es da:
sz - entspricht dem deutschen "sch"
cz - entspricht einem "tsch"
rz - jetzt wird's etwas komplizierter, spricht man so aus wie das "sch" in "Dschungel". Also ein kehliges j.

Außerdem werden Konsonanten, die vor einem "i" stehen, erweicht. Dazu später mehr.

Can anyone decently explain to me why people are so fixated on assigning a gender to someone?

Why is that important?

You wanna address them? "Hey [whatever the person told you they want to be called]"

You weren't told how to address them? "Excuse me: I'm Andreas, What's your name?"

They don't tell you? Have you considered that they probably don't want to talk to you?

Wir planen gerade im Herbst einen #Interrail Trip zu machen, wahrscheinlich durch Osteuropa bis Griechenland oder sowas.
Da das für uns das erste mal ist: habt ihr Tipps? Worauf sollten wir achten? Wie packt man am besten dafür bzw was sind die Sachen, die sich unterwegs bei euch als super praktisch erwiesen haben?

@Micha großen Rucksack, definitiv keinen Koffer. Dann entsprechend nur das nötigste mitnehmen. Wichtig ist eine PowerBank. Smartphones sind extremst hilfreich.

Ansonsten eigentlich eher so vorher informieren, was man in den Ländern beachten sollte und vorher Verbindungen prüfen. Gerade auf dem Balkan gibt es nur wenige Zugverbindungen und meines Wissens kommt man per Bahn nicht bis Griechenland, aber es gibt Fernbusse.
