Has anyone had a proper go with the RPi pico_audio C/C++ library in the SDK extras repo?

I'm sure it works well with the examples, but there is minimal documentation and the code is either DMA/PIO handling or buffer management from what I can see...

I'm not getting much of a clue as to how to actually use it for driving audio or what the timing constraints/etc actually are.

take_audio_buffer/give_audio_buffer aren't particularly useful audio abstractions imo...

Any pointers most welcome!
