I've managed to stop biting my fingernails for about 2 weeks now and I think they're probably near the longest they've ever been in my life. Typing has become difficult and weird. I constantly feel them and are aware of them... I can feel the nails pushing past the skin that used to kind of enclose the chewed up nails.... constantly reminding me to bite them but I try to resist.... Hrrrnnnng. (That's the sound of resisting biting my nails.)
I’m behind a full season of #StarTrekDiscovery so I’m positive I’ll probably be spoiled before the end of the series. The sad part though is I don’t think I care.
The show got better near the end of S3 but honestly I still don’t like the way Bernham has treated Saru. The show’s never really felt like #StarTrek to me either, and for my money the best thing to come out of it was Pike and Strange New Worlds.

@gedeonm I have always watched discovery at first because it was the only new Trek out. I enjoy the show. However with SNW out it certainly has made me reevaluate Disco and how not a classic Star Trek show it is. Season five is off to a fun start but ya still not SNW.

With all the posts about #StargateSG1 I decided to take the plunge. Started by re-watching the original movie starring James Spader & Kurt Russell. I had forgotten a lot of it. The last 1/3 of the flick is forgettable but the entire world building/discovery is compelling.
The pilot of SG-1 picks up a year after the events of the film & so far I like it. Richard Dean Anderson as Russell’s character is interesting. He’s now the alpha male instead of the nerd (Macgyver), interesting role reversal
@gedeonm Ahh I have watched a good chunk of TNG but when I was watching this SG1 ep at time the first run I had only seen parts of TNG since was too young to watch it as it premiered since I was born in 1984.
Finally got my Robert Watts Indiana Jones piece framed and hung. Was really fun picking out the mat and frame for this one and my nightstand lamp gives the piece a great, warm glow when I come into my bedroom at night. Makes me really happy 🥰
If you want a solid understanding of the character of #Ahsoka Tano, go watch episodes 17-20 of the animated Clone Wars series from Season 5.
It’s a great story arc that ends with her walking away from the Jedi order. How she got there, her relationship with Anakin, and how Yoda, Obi-wan and the other Jedi failed her is pretty epic. This set of stories is her main point of motivation and one reason why I suspect she’s a fan favorite. Highly recommended viewing.

I earned more interest with my Apple Savings account in the 3 months I’ve had it than I have in the last five years with my normal savings account. And it only has about 1/6th of the money in it.
Seriously considering moving my entire savings over to Apple.
@gedeonm I looked at going with Apple but I decided after some research to go with bask bank. Getting 4.88% interest as of this week so a bit higher than Apple.
Heading out to see #IndianaJones in a couple of hours and getting more and more nervous. YouTube is chock full of reviews trashing the movie. 😢 Not good.
@snazzyq@marcoarment My experience has been mostly the same on the minor bugs except for the battery life and heat have not been terrible for me and have been able to get buy mostly without any major lifestyle changes.
They keep cutting to this adorable kid sleeping at the #RedSox#Twins game. He’s slept through a couple of innings and now the announcers are starting to take bets what inning he’ll finally wake up. Poor, sleepy boy. 😂
