Funnily enough, when I last bought a ticket at #Oxford station in June, there were several ticket windows in operation, and people queuing for them, so I don't see the shift in user behaviour that would require closing them.

It also feels like a further step away from civilisation - we don't have electric trains here, and then we won't have a ticket office either.
