I am currently engrossed in reading the Expanse book series. In the universe of these books, humanity's advanced space-faring civilization still grapples with familiar issues like geopolitical tension, inequality, and exploitation.

The arrival of a mysterious new technology ignites intense reactions from governments, individuals, and political ideologies.

In these books, I see many parallels to how people currently interact with AI.

I really believe that making things in public leads to better quality stuff. To test this theory, I'm writing a book about learning in public... in public. I've always wanted to write a book, and I'm really captivated by the idea of taking people along for the ride right along with me. Thank you for your kind words. I tend to set rather high standards for the material I share.

It's something along the lines of "it's been said before you." Silly, but it inspires me not to repeat knowledge word for word, but to speak as I have come to understand it myself.

However, in most of my cases, speaking "word for word" from a textbook/notebook turns out to be more useful.

Noise. A Flaw in Human Jugment is a book by Kahneman, Siboney, and Sunstein that reveals the hidden influence of "noise" on our decisions. For example, why two doctors can make different diagnoses on the same tests.

I found it important that the book gives specific recommendations on how to reduce "noise" in a huge number of spheres of our life.

And below I will describe a recommendation from the book to reduce noise within the project team.
