The surgeon called this morning. No residual cancer! The cancer is dead. MY CANCER IS DEAD! Woo hoo!

Next steps are to have the port removed and radiation. But it's a relief to know that beast isn't growing inside of me anymore.

My lumpectomy was Thurs. I'm off the pain meds. Ice & Tylenol are sufficient... & not moving too strenuously. The pathology report came in & says the lymph nodes have no cancer. No oral chemo after this. Yay! The info on the tumor is less clear, but I think it says the margins are clear. The surgeon will call with that info on Monday.

One more surgery to go - to get rid of the port. And then radiation. Then I hope all of this is finally over. Still recovering from 6 mos of chemo. #cancer

Mine is the original Psycho. It always makes me scream at the end. And I love a good monster movie, especially with dinosaurs or sharks.

My short story is now 35K. It will be close to novel length before I'm done. I'm sure my fans won't mind.

The title is Escape from Doka: A Backworlds Adventure. A cover is being worked on for it. I plan to release it to my mailing list as a gift in late November/early December.
