Net op Radio 4 (NPO Klassiek) advocaat Corver die aan de Nederlandse Bank zegt dat ze zich als schoenmakers bij hun leest moeten houden, om vervolgens vrolijk zelf compleet buiten zijn "leest" door te tetteren over het OMT en de mazelen epidemie.

Okay, so here's what 3/4 of Death by Cross Stitch looks like. This pattern is huge, I had to get the tall teenager to hold it up so I could get a picture.

Death by Cross Stitch is the name of the pattern by Long Dog Samplers. Thread is DMC 310 and the fabric is white 16 count aida.

Hmm... Hmm... Decisions. The battery of my Pixel 6 is getting worse and worse. After 2,5 years, the battery doesn't last that long anymore. I almost lost 20% of battery during my 30 minute commute by just listening to music via Spotify...

So that means, I have two options. Replace it with the upcoming 8a (which is probably gonna cost ~ 500 euro) or invest about 88 euro's ( or 1,5M idr / 95 USD) to get the battery replaced here in Jakarta.

Any tips or suggestions ?

@SuitedUpDev I hear you! My pixel 6 battery is still Ok enough, but I have been looking at other phones, because I realized mine was over 2 years old. In previous years I would have already bought a new one, but my attitude is changing.
Luckily no dev work here for mobile phones, so no dependency.

I am looking into the Fairphone specs, because their philosophy is very attractive, but the camera (biggest plus of a pixel) is not (yet) perfectly aligned with its software.

So no new phone for me, and if the battery goes, I'd consider that a good investment for at least another 6 months of pixel usage.

For what seems like ages .... (about 6-8 weeks), I did not want to touch anything on my yunohost mastodon app, because the webinterface was broken, but the barebones settings were accessible. And I could still toot via my mobile app.

Finally, the interface is up and running again, but I fear a mastodon-move will be in the works, as I find the yunohost masto version very dodgy and not well maintained.

Any tips on how I can install my own server and keep all data of this version in the new one?

Al de hele dag in vrolijke spanning vanwege DHL pakketje (aflevering gepland tussen 1 en 3), want het is me eindelijk gelukt om bij de Lego-verhuurwinkel het Colosseum te huren.

Designed a new logo and banner for my server mementomori.social. It went through quite a lot of changes, experimented with combining elements of hourglass, skull and a infinity symbol, each separately. But nothing worked.

Then I realized the circle is simple enough. I like the element for its many meanings. It also attaches to the base idea of remembering the mortality, "circle of life". And it looks nice.
